UFC plans four Japanese-only events for 2013

According to NikkanSports, the UFC is planning on having four Japan only fights throughout 2013. 


The UFC plans for these events to be smaller, with an attendance goal of about 5,000 people, and feature mainly Japanese fighters. The Japanese cards will not count towards the numbered events the UFC has been holding. Ex. UFC 152… 


No information has come out for the broadcasting plans for the events. Japan has always been a great place for MMA and I bet these events will be great for the promotion. We will bring you more information as it becomes available.

For all of you who tuned into UFC 155, you saw a good card including a fight of the year candidate, Lauzon vs Miller. What you also saw was Junior Dos Santos get dominated like never before. While most people probably came away impressed with Velasquezs' performance, I, on the other hand, was not blown away but was disappointed with how Dos Santos fought.
